Cycling to the Hobe Mountain trailhead offers a scenic reward. Although you can't cycle, this short 10-minute walk takes you to the Hobe Mountain Observation Tower, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the park's vast landscape. Standing 86 feet above sea level on ancient sand dunes, Hobe Mountain is the highest natural point south of Lake Okeechobee.
