Lavender is also blooming on the Kaiserstuhl!
A purple sea of lavender, a touch of Provence. Mid-June is harvest time. The cut lavender bunches are put in wooden boxes, hung up and dried until they are tied into bouquets or made into soaps and oils. The products are sold in the farm shop in Bischoffingen, Dorfstrasse 8.
Important when taking photos: Please stay at the edge of the field so as not to destroy the plants.
