Alt: 572m. Neðstifoss is a waterfall in southern Iceland, located near Skógar. It is one of several waterfalls in the region known for its abundance of waterfalls, with more than 37 different waterfalls. Neðstifoss, together with Miðfoss, is a 'twinfoss', which means that they are close to each other and together have a total height of approximately 25 meters. They fall over a basalt cliff into a desolate landscape formed by volcanoes and covered in moss.
