Bowmanville East Beach is located at the entrance to Bowmanville Harbour in Port Darlington. Numerous boats are moored in the harbor. The access from Lake Ontario is protected by two breakwaters. On the western side stands a lighthouse with a tradition dating back to the 19th century.
