This Church of Our Lady's Nativity has been withdrawn from worship since 11/09/2022.
History: The monumental Church of Our Lady from 1865-1866 dominates the entire north side of the rectangular, tree-lined village square. Its rather recent location and age are evident not only from the architectural overall appearance but also from the non-conventional orientation, with the choir facing north-northwest. In older churches the choir always 'looks' towards the east. From the 19th century onwards, other motives such as the existing road network and the available space were taken into account when new churches were located.
