something different than the old market halls everywhere. You do not have to like this model made of concrete and wire mesh, but it is still an eyecatcher.

The market halls, the beating heart of the city in France.
Built from 1887 to 1889 in cast iron and glass in the Baltard style by the Montpellier architect Léon-Etienne Rosiès and inaugurated in 1890, the halls gradually became the heart of Sète's convivial atmosphere. They were destroyed in the 1970s and replaced by a four-storey multifunctional building made of concrete, to which a large car park and a multipurpose room were added.
