Unique chapel near the Rouvas Gorge. A decent climb from Zaros. Great views of Zaros and as far as Kofinas. The chapel itself seems a bit untidy. Beautiful view of the Monastery of St. Nicholas Zaros. A church service is held up here once a year.

The church of Agios Efthimios dates back to the 14th century. The wall paintings also date from this period.

Saints Euthymius and Nikolaos Kourtaliotis lived here in the 17th century (around 1670). According to tradition, Saint Nicholas Kourtaliotis was mistakenly killed by a hunter when the nuns of the monastery of Saint Nicholas saw him wandering around the gardens disguised as an animal. The injured saint asked the hunter to take him to the present spot of the small church of Saint Nicholas in the Kourtaliotis gorge. There, Nikolaos miraculously opened the current springs of Kourtaliotis to quench the hunter's thirst.
