Fort bij Penningsveer is used as a group accommodation for schools and institutions, for training and events. The Fort Penningsveer Foundation focuses particularly on people who, from a social point of view, need extra support. Fort Penningsveer has options for overnight stays for groups of up to 66 people. The fort also has a room that is suitable for exhibitions, receptions or business meetings. It is also a wedding location for the municipality of Haarlemmerliede. In addition, spaces are leased to small (start-up) companies.
During our inline skating trip 'Stelling van Amsterdam' and the Kingsday ride we pass this fort.
