This route follows the 'le chemin du Suc' route created by the association les crampons du Murgat de Carlat, with two small differences: the start is in the hamlet of Juzelles rather than Carlat, and the route makes a very slight shortcut avoiding to go down and back up from the village.
It is a very pleasant route which includes a plateau part with very beautiful views of the Cantal mountains (Plumb du Cantal, Puy Griou, etc.), then descends halfway up the valley with a more bucolic atmosphere.
