The history of the Pucará culture dates back to 1400 BC. C., whose main precursors are the Qaluyo cultures to the north and the Chiripa cultures to the south of Titicaca. This culture was characterized by large, pyramid-like constructions that formed a large pre-Hispanic city, where sculptural monuments and steles are located. At this time, pottery also stood out.

The archaeological museum contains artifacts from this area, e.g. old ceramic objects, Inca mummies, Inca textiles. The shaman cult "Patchamama" (Mother Earth) is vividly presented in several exhibition windows. The Spaniards brought the bull with them as a cult object, which is used as a ceramic on the roof above the entrance and is supposed to protect the house.
