Vandring
The cloister is one of the most beautiful parts of the monastery and is located in the upper part of the Gothic building "La Merveille." Built in the 13th century, it served the monks as a place of rest, prayer, and meditation. The cloister consists of two rows of delicate columns, which form elegant arches around a small courtyard and garden. Its elevated position offers impressive views of the bay. It was once the spiritual heart of the abbey.

The cloister of Mont Saint-Michel is a Gothic masterpiece located at the top of the abbey, in the part called “La Merveille”. Built between 1228 and 1230, it served as a place of meditation for monks, offering a peaceful space open to the sky. The cloister is famous for its columns arranged in a staggered pattern, forming tripods which support the vault. This garden suspended between sky and sea is a true haven of peace, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the spiritual and historical atmosphere of Mount
