"The Erkenbert ruin is what remains of the former collegiate church of St. Maria Magdalena in Frankenthal (Rhineland-Palatinate). It is named after the founder Erkenbert von Frankenthal. The building was erected in the Romanesque period and is the oldest monument in the city. "
