Here, in the middle of the city center, there is a beautiful little park where you can relax under old trees with beautiful plants and by a fountain. There is also a great view of the surrounding area and the city from here.

This monument is dedicated to J.T. de Aguerri, a Nicaraguan feminist, writer and educational reformer. She was born on February 21, 1866 and died on April 27, 1962 and was considered a pioneer for women's education in Nicaragua.
