Panigai is a valuable medieval village immersed in the Pravisdomini countryside. The toponym most likely derives from "panic", a term that indicates a grass plant similar to millet. Of historical interest is the current Panigai-Ovio palace, a typical Venetian villa immersed in a large park surrounded by ancient walls and lapped by the waters of the Sile river.

Very small village in the province of Pordenone ... of the Panigai Counts, rich landowners! Small church with family cemetery and adjacent villa .. very nice

Outside the castle walls stands the small church of San Giuliano, dated between 1490 and 1999 and renovated in the mid-18th century. It is composed of a rectangular hall with a square presbytery and bell tower incorporated into the building. The frescoes inside are of notable importance, also dating back to the late 15th century and attributed to some of the workers of Pietro da Belluno, known as Bellunello.
On the floor, in front of the altar, there is the black marble tombstone of the Panigai and on the embankment around the church the small local "Friulian" cemetery.
