There, we unexpectedly witnessed a Foucoult pendulum in action.
The pendulum is 16 meters long, weighs 10 kg, and has a period of 8 seconds.
Many people lost their lives in the past because church officials didn't "want" the Earth to revolve around the sun, among other things!
Note: In St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg, there is, or at least there was, such a pendulum, with a pendulum length of approximately 95 meters!
Poland also brews excellent beers – some with German hops.
