History and architecture
The church is a flat-roofed, rectangular building with a square, half-built west tower, the southern portal porch and a northern patron's box. It goes back to the castle chapel at Ostrau Castle from around 1300; A thorough renovation took place between 1689 and 1690, and a restoration in 1933. The tower is closed with a curved hood, the sound openings are ogival with a central oculus under a flat arched panel.
Inside there is a horseshoe gallery built in, which, like the entire baroque wooden furnishings, was created by Hermann Mauer between 1698 and 1702.

The six-sided pulpit shows reliefs of the evangelist symbols and the Lamb of God on the parapet. The glazed patron's box is attached to the north wall, which is crowned with the alliance coat of arms in the middle, and the busts of the donor couple Otto Ludwig von Veltheim and his wife are arranged on the sides.
