The bridge is not popular with cyclists. The lack of infrastructure (paths), the technical requirement to ride on the roadway and not a narrow sidewalk, and the recent deaths of cyclists do not increase the popularity of the crossing among two-wheelers...

Usually "Poniatoszczak" - a bridge over the Vistula in Warsaw built in 1904-1914. The current name was given in April 1917. The first plans to build a bridge on the extension of Aleja Jerozolimska appeared in the 1870s. The bridge, designed by engineers Mieczysław Marszewski, Bronisław Plebiński and Wacław Paszkowski, was built in 1904-1914.

The Poniatowski Bridge in Warsaw (officially the Prince Józef Poniatowski Bridge) is a bridge over the Vistula River built between 1904 and 1914. Designed by Mieczysław Marszewski, Bronisław Plebiński, and Wacław Paszkowski, the bridge was designed by Stefan Szyller. It played a key role in the development of Saska Kępa and Grochów.

During World War I, it was partially destroyed by the Russians and rebuilt between 1921 and 1927. During World War II, the Germans blew it up in September 1944. Post-war reconstruction was completed in 1946, allowing the restoration of tram service between left-bank Warsaw and Praga.
