The port of Honduras provides us with some of the most impressive views of the northern area of Cáceres.
It joins the valley of Ambroz and that of Jerte and has a length of ascent from both sides of about 17 kilometers, with an average slope of 5% maintained throughout the route.

This port provides us with some of the most colossal views of the north. It unites two large valleys: Ambroz and Jerte. It has a length of ascent from one side and the other of approximately 17 kilometers with an average gradient of 5%, quite maintained throughout the route. These characteristics make it a port that is highly appreciated by bicycle lovers.

Located in the north of the province of Cáceres, the port of Honduras provides spectacular views of the two large valleys it connects: the Ambroz valley and the Jerte valley.
From both Gargantilla and Cabezuela del Valle, hikers can avoid the road and crown this pass along trails and dirt tracks that are part of the GR 10.
