Small municipality in Alto Ampurdán, located between Figueras and La Jonquera, with just under 300 inhabitants and home to a notable historical and religious heritage. The church of Santa Maria de l'Om (11th century) was an old priory located in the population center with the same name, belonging to the municipality of Masarac, and whose community was suppressed at the end of the 16th century. Of Romanesque type, although it has undergone changes and additions to its construction over the centuries, it consists of two naves finished with a pair of semicircular apses.
