Step into history at the Gay Head Community Baptist Church, established in 1693 as the oldest Native American Baptist Church in North America. Originally constructed in 1698 on the Old South Road, the church moved in 1850 to its current location in the town center, preserving some of its original rafters. This is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
