It was built in the 11th and 12th centuries, during the peak period of the Romanesque in Catalonia.
The church has a single nave structure with a semicircular apse. Its main façade has an entrance portal decorated with archivolts and sculpted columns. It also has a square bell tower attached to the south side of the nave.
Inside the church, you can see some Romanesque decorative elements, such as capitals sculpted with plant and animal motifs. Some wall paintings dating from the 13th and 14th centuries are also preserved, although in a fragmentary state of conservation.
