The legend goes that the pond earned its name "Quiver" due to the abundance of arrowheads found along its shores, hinting at past Native American hunting grounds. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive loon, a magnificent diving bird known for its haunting calls. Quiver Pond is one of the few suitable breeding grounds for loons in the Adirondacks.
