Narrangansett is a quiet, small coastal town with good tourist infrastructure and stands out from the hustle and bustle of Newport and Providence. It feels like in Brittany, although it is significantly warmer here in summer than there.

As many as 5,000 people visit Narragansett Town Beach in a day, taking advantage of the clean sand and waters, plentiful parking, and relaxed atmosphere. Daily admission currently costs $12/day (2024), and ADA surf chairs are available to mobility-limited patrons at no charge.
