Whatever shortcut Komoot might show, better follow the street signs to the waterfalls! They also lead by the chapel which has a drinking water tap outside, in case the 3 little restaurants/corner stores in the village and the Kadi Cafe at the trailhead should be closed. There is also a picnic area with a drinking water fountain near the bottom of the paved section of the trail down to the Polilimnio falls, though it is probably untreated.

In May 2019 that tap was as dry as I was after the long climb 😂
