The aptly named River Road passes over Oxbow Lagoon. The curved shape of the wetland follows the natural meanderings of the river. Backed by lush green trees in the summer, the orange and golden hue give it a whole different feel in the autumn.

The trails across the road connect to Squire's Castle, a scenic 1800s manor built in the style of a medieval fortress. The lagoon is right up against the manor grounds.
