The Ngadi Khola drains the glaciers on the western side of the gigantic Himalchuli massif (7,893 m). Over a length of about 25 km the valley drops steeply to an altitude of 890 m at the confluence of the high mountain river and the Marsyangdi River at Ngadi Bazar.
In 2022, a hydroelectric power station on Ngadi Khola with a capacity of 30 MW was completed. The inlet of the run-of-river project with 10-meter-high dam is nine kilometres above the Marsyangdi Valley.
