Definitely worth stopping here on your ride to enjoy the moorland (delightfully purple in the spring and summer months). There is a standing stone here, just a few steps from the trig point. Maps show two hill names here: Louven Howe and Stony Leas, but it's the Stony Leas that has the trig point.
Excellent, far-reaching views from here in every direction, and the Fylingdales MOD (Ministry of Defence) complex is visible in the distance.
