"During the Spanish Civil War, Mungia was one of the cities most affected by the bombings of fascist troops. In addition, during the retreat from Mungia, out-of-control anarchist groups burned some buildings in the city." (Source, Wiki) The monument in the background is dedicated to the steel workers.
