    Going eastbound from Legion Lake, this trail is a fun, mostly down-slope, ride. Use caution: a nearly invisible culvert was washed out with a big hole in road. Terrain changes quickly and unexpectedly. Wider tires with traction a must.

    Barnes Canyon Trail is a 6 mile out-and-back trail situated in the heart of Custer State Park.
