Monteroni d'Arbia is located between the Val d'Orcia and Siena, both UNESCO heritage sites. This area offers enchanting landscapes and preserves traces of the past such as the Via Francigena and the Grancia di Cuna. Nearby, you can visit the Church of Santi Jacopo e Cristoforo and the parish church of Corsano.

Monteroni d'Arbia is a small town whose development is linked to the hospital of Santa Maria della Scala. It became a municipality in 1810 under Napoleonic rule. Monteroni d'Arbia is considered the gateway to the south of the province of Siena, a picturesque area, crossed by the Via Cassia. Monteroni, a stop along the Via Francigena, has preserved the ancient atmosphere that can be breathed in the other towns of its territory, in the barren landscape of which it blends in perfectly with farms, castles, small churches, barns and villages.
