Vandring
The Telschowsche house in the street Auf der Freiheit was first mentioned in a document in 1566 and housed the first post office of Wittstock/Dosse from 1681. In 1920 it was bought by Paul Telschow, the father of Anita Kmetsch, who took ownership of the building in 1974. After extensive refurbishment work, in July 2006 the building was voted monument of the month in the state of Brandenburg by the working group “Cities with historic town centres”.

Vandring
First mentioned in 1566, belongs to the representative houses of the old official freedom, which fell to the city in 1848, but before that was its own independent community. When in 1681 the "Kariolpost" drove from Güstrow via Wittstock to Berlin, the house was the first post office. Travel time to Berlin: 23 hours 45 minutes

Vandring
The Telschow House is one of the historic buildings of the old official freedom. When the Kariolpost (Kariol = light, single-axle wagon) traveled from Güstrow via Wittstock to Berlin in 1681, this house was the first post office.
