Great fun route around Dalian Lake. This, and more so Qingxi Park, is a popular destination on weekends. You will meet many people that walk or cycle around the lake, and visit the park (no bikes though) to view the trees standing in the wetland.
The route around the lake is a perfectly smooth asphalt, easy to ride and with plenty of opportunities on the way to take a break.
