A magnificent view is obtained after the driveway, which is certainly worth it.
Why a fortification was built at this point is understandable.
Unfortunately there was no time to explore where the actual stairway was. So it may be that we have to cycle here a second time. Also because the renovation work on the ruins will allow a deeper insight.
