The 2665m high rock is uniquely beautifully illuminated in the morning and evening hours when the sun is shining. Alpenglow par excellence. You can enjoy these moments with an ice-cold drink from the Edelweißhütte.

The Sassongher 2,665 m above sea level is the mountain that dominates the panorama in the west of Colfosco/Calfosch/Kolfuschg. Between it and the Sass da Ciampac 2,667 m above sea level, a valley opens to the west, the Edelweißtal, which continues to rise to the Puez plateau. From the east flank of the Sass da Ciampac from Forcelles, in the Edelweißtal and on the Col Pradat, beautiful pistes with a long valley descent to the Sellaronda axis.
