The quarry stone Firmenich Barbara Chapel dates back to at least the 17th century and was listed as a historical monument in 1963. It is only eight meters long and five meters wide. In 1949, André Firmenich from Geneva donated four new stained glass windows with scenes from the life of Saint Barbara. Firmenich and his chapel belonged to Pastor Satzvey until 1903 - and to Obergartzem ever since.
