In a picturesque place near the Klyazma River, in the Pavlovo-Posad region, there is a stone Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in the village of Saurovo. The history of the temple dates back to the 16th century. In those days, a wooden church was built on the Upolozy churchyard, and the territory of the Earth itself belonged to the patrimony of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.
