Vandring
Bystranda is a blue flag beach in the southeastern part of downtown Kristiansand. It lies just east of the mouth of the Otra River.
At Bystranda there is seating, bathrobe stairs, sand volleyball court, skate ramp, playground and toilets. When designing the lido, importance was attached to making it accessible to children and the disabled. In the vicinity of Bystranda there is also the indoor water park Aquarama

Vandring
Kristiansand has a real beach with sand. It is particularly popular and visited when the summer weather is nice.
