    Landevejscykling

The climb from Riddes to La Tzoumaz on a well-developed, two-lane road is very smooth, the gradient is extremely even at 8-10%. The route runs mostly through forest and is rather shady as it climbs the southern flank of the Valais, and you are constantly treated to fantastic views of the valley floor further and further down.
