Spacious, natural park in the north of Leipzig! The landmark of the park is the "Monopteros" on the pond island and the adjacent historic castle. Surrounding, well-developed footpaths on the Parthe lead to the quarry pond Thekla ("Northeast Natural Pool"). The park paths are mostly solid gravel and are therefore also suitable for runs in wet weather. Children and sports fans can make the great big playground in the park unsafe!
