Coastal city with a protected fishing port in the Sassandra river estuary, long beaches and a few remaining ruins of colonial administration buildings, badly neglected and collapsing. Good variety of hotels, restaurants, and rural road along the beach to some excellent sandy stretches naturally decorated with beautiful rocks

Laid back coastal town about half-way between Abidjan and San Pedro, with small remnants of colonial architecture about to crumble away, minimal tourism on its miles and miles of undeveloped natural beaches, fishing villages, backed by tropical plantations
