Fascinating Sanctuary in the center of the town of Tirano. Although parking is not an easy thing, the place is worth a visit and a coffee in the adjacent premises

The majestic Basilica stands at the crossroads between Italy and Switzerland, in the precise place where the Madonna appeared back in 1504 to Mario Omodei from Tirana. The sixteenth-century sanctuary with three Latin cross naves is the most important example of the Renaissance in Valtellina.
