The Mauritskerk is the Protestant church of IJzendijke, located at Kerkstraat 2.
This church, which was built from 1612-1614, was the first church building in Zeeland that was built specifically for Protestant worship. In the Netherlands there is only one older church building with that specific function, namely in Willemstad, the Koepelkerk (built from 1596-1607).
