Don‘t get fooled by komoot claiming this is a tarmac road- it is not! The road coming from Bashkugandy to Son Köl is very sandy, so plan in enough time for this route. There are no shops and the river is polluted by a big coal mine. The views are great though and the whole pass up to Son Köl is ridable!
