Kumzhensky memorial, opened in 1983 in memory of the fallen Red Army soldiers who liberated Rostov-on-Don in 1941-1943. There are beautiful sandy beaches near the memorial.

The Kumzhensky Memorial is a memorial complex in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Rostov-on-Don. Located in the west of the city in the Kumzhenskaya Grove on the spit of the Don and the Dead Donets.
Built in 1983 in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Red Army who liberated Rostov-on-Don in 1941–1943.
