The source has been known since very ancient times. In 1884, a church was consecrated near it in honor of the Joy of All Who Sorrow icon, which was demolished in Soviet times. The water in the spring is clean, cold and very tasty, contains silver and has healing properties. A chapel was built over it, there is a font. A stream flows along the ravine, the place is quiet and picturesque.
