Mountainbiking

The small district of Eppan, the market town of St. Pauls, is a beautiful medieval village with a focal point at the beautiful village church. a beautiful fountain and many monument-protected old buildings complete the village square. Excellent wine also grows here, and the winegrowers' cooperative opposite the historic cemetery completes the picture of the village. Several wine bars invite you to try them. The church is also worth seeing.

St. Paul's is hidden between the vineyards and orchards off the South Tyrolean wine route towards Kaltern, but the top of its church tower can be seen everywhere. Those who don't know may wonder what a church of this size is doing in a village like St. Paul's: after all, the tower is an impressive 86 meters high. It was completed in 1647 to tell of the power and wealth of the nobles who settled in St. Paul's. And what is better suited to this than an imposing building of incomparable beauty that can be seen from far away?
