Very nice view of the church!
The landmark of Lauffen, the venerable Regiswindis Church, can be seen from far away on the rock high above the Neckar. The first church was built on this site around 700. It was made of wood and was named after Saint Martin. The current church is the fourth building on this site. It is named after Saint Regiswindis, whose story is recorded in picture panels in the choir of the church. The foundation stone for the current church was laid in 1227. The tower up to the rooster is 54 meters high.
