St. Nikolaus goes back to an Augustinian canon foundation founded in 1117/18, which was occupied in 1143 with Premonstratensians from Steinfeld Abbey.

Vandring
The Church of St. Nicholas is a highlight in Cologne-Dünnwald. Remains of a 14th century monastery. The farm buildings have now been converted into a housing estate and separated from the church by the church wall.
