The 'Salmon Glacier' is located in the 'Boundary Ranges' of 'British Columbia' not far from the Alaskan border. In the snow-free period during the summer months, the gravel road is passable up to the 'Summit Viewpoint'. Here you have a fantastic view of the glacier. The drive travels 23 miles from Stewart, BC via Hyder, Alaska. The 'Salmon Glacier Lookout' is further south and can only be reached on foot or possibly by snowmobile outside of the summer months.
