Currently uninhabited station undergoing partial renovation. The overall condition shows widespread degradation which does not appear to affect the structural integrity.
Comparing the current conditions with the 2011 photographic shot by E. Ruggeri (n°6) shows how much the deterioration has progressed over time.

In the station there was a doubling of the tracks intended for passenger transport and a line dedicated to freight traffic on the opposite side of the building.
Unlike the other FVB stations, the classic separate building for the toilets was not present, but two rooms had been created under the nearby provincial road, on the right side of the tunnel exit (see current photo n°1 and the one from the early 1900s no. 7) .
